1st Grade Day!
Waseca SWCD will be hosting the annual 1st grade day again in May 2008 at the Fuller property. Speakers from organizations such as DNR Fisheries, DNR Forestry, MPCA, Waseca County, NRCS, BWSR, Waseca Junior High school and SWCD's will be presenting information and activities for the students to participate in. Along with the presentation pizza will be provided for lunch. If your school is interested and has not been notified by the Waseca SWCD feel free to call and let us know 507-835-4800 Ext. 3.
Board Meeting
The Waseca SWCD will hold the monthly board meeting June 12th, 2008 at 6:30 P.M. in the SWCD office.
Tree Program
The Waseca SWCD has a tree program in which trees and shrubs are ordered to sell to landowners for conservation. Orders are taken on a first come first serve basis until the trees arrive in April.
The 2008 tree order form is now available. Print the list off, fill out your order and mail to our office at the address listed on the order form. Here is a tree description list for all of the conservation trees available.
